Barack Obama Horoscope - Will a Leo Win Election 2008?

Barack Obama's horoscope is not totally verified at this time. We have the date and place, but the time is under question. He is certainly the radiant Leo, born 8/4/61. The late astrologer, Frances McEvoy, reported 1:06 pm from his memory. To test this time, astrologers need to check it against known dates in his life to see if the passages of the planets were triggering this horoscope.

One timing observance is in 1995 Pluto went into Sagittarius, putting it in opposition to this Gemini Moon. That year his book, "The Audacity of Hope" was published and his mother died of ovarian cancer. Since Pluto has to do with transformation and letting go, it is often seen engaged with the natal horoscope during life changing events that stay with us a long time. One of the areas of life the sign of Sagittarius symbolizes is publishing. It is also related to inherent exuberance, which is reflected in his book's title. The moon represents among other things, the mother. Although this seems a good fit, this is only one timing observance. However, I'm of the belief system that since this is the information we have for this point in time, it probably has a synchronistic veracity that should be explored (with reservation!)

In this chart, the Moon (how we react to things) has just slipped into the sign of Gemini. Obama is known for his elocution, his ability to feed energetically from ideas. If this time is accurate, the moon shows a supportive connection to his Mercury (how we communicate). This shows a gift for connecting with listeners through his heart, which can make him likable because people feel he understands them. The other reason this placement of the moon looks right is his youthful appearance and appeal to young voters.

This quote from the NY Times about Obama on 1/26/08, describing him the week of the SC primary: "One day he seemed angry, another day he seemed flustered, another day he seemed frustrated and, finally, he resorted to humor. It is a range of emotions that may well be unfamiliar to Americans who have watched this normally easy-going, sure-footed politician."

A person's moon sign will show its colors in a crisis or under stress. If he had a steady Moon in Taurus, I don't think we'd see this range of emotions. This does not mean he is too mercurial for a role of stature, it simply means he processes quickly and does not get stuck in one emotional place. Some people can view this as flighty and unstable, but weighing it with the rest of his makeup, it shows a resistance to holding grudges and an aptitude for adapting.

JFK had the Gemini connection to the USA chart's Uranus (change, individuality, freedom) and the US people like to feel someone capturing that part of them. A country has a chart, which represents among other things, its people. In a democracy, the people don't vote for a candidate who doesn't have a relationship with their country's horoscope. If the candidate and the people aren't relating, s/he won't win.

Regardless of what his moon sign is, his Venus in Cancer is conjunct the US Venus, so the US people like him and he is devoted to his country. Venus in Cancer softens the imperious Leo ego; his family and his home rule his heart. He is certainly a dynamic Leo in public, having become comfortable in the limelight, in spite of his Sun's (ego, sense of self) challenge from a Neptune square. This shows a man who can be captured by a dream (positively) or an illusion (negatively). Neptune symbolizes a person's need to escape into the void or pursue a high ideal. He has talked and written openly about his youthful trials of defining himself.

The strong Leo Sun burns through the Neptune haze. His early experimentation with drugs succumbed to the seduction of a greater lure. His Sun (ego) needs to guard against being caught by Neptune (glamor), keeping instead conscious to the spiritual motivation of his quest for power. Being the glamorous candidate can be terrific as long as he keeps his objectivity. He may not be consciously aware how important to his spirit this race is. He does need to be careful about his close advisors, because those who don't mean what they say may shadow him; he may take people on face value more than is prudent. Fortunately, he is married to a Capricorn (and the moon in his 7th shows his need for a wife's counsel) and her instincts about people are keener than his. Actually, looking at Michele Robinson's chart is essential for completing the potential of winning for Obama (as with any candidate's spouse), but that's for another day.

His Saturn (discipline, responsibility) works nicely with his Mars (how we assert ourselves), both in earth signs- showing a steadiness and ability to stay the course. His Mars is in Virgo, so even though the Sun/Mercury show his ability to command a room, the Mars indicates he will roll up his sleeves and work when needed (the snare here is can he effectively delegate, or does he think only he can do certain jobs very well?) This is a man who measures and dreams, who believes in change but in the end, will move cautiously.

It is part of his karmic destiny to lead (north node in Leo in the 10th house) but he must lead his way. His Uranus is in square to the asteroids Vesta and Ceres, so his tendency to go his own way can get derailed by his commitment to nurture. This is emphasized again in his Venus in nurturing Cancer in hard aspect to his expansive Jupiterian vision. This schism contributes to his strength in negotiating, because he does not want to give away his integrity but he wants very much to serve the greater good. He is not giving lip-service to education and health care. He has a strong sense of responsibility to these fundamental rights for a functioning human community.

As of January 2008, looking at transits (where the planets are now in the sky) in relation to his natal horoscope, Saturn (limits, structure) is conjunct his Pluto. This can indicate an upheaval as he revamps his life for change. As he continues to move forward in this election, Obama will have to steer with focus if he is to create stability. Any attachments he has to how he holds power may no longer serve him. Behind the scenes, this may be particularly critical in relationship with his wife (transiting Pluto in opposition to his Venus). These two will be forced to come to terms with their strong wills and desire to be with one another, pitted against the demands of a greater goal. Not just in marriage, Venus is also symbolic of any partnership and of what we value. This can also suggest a coming to terms with a running mate.

He has terrific goals and is that great combination of a charismatic leader who is also hard-working with solid values. But he may be sending out messages (he should avoid coffee with sleep-deprivation) that sound erratic to the public. He may not do as well as he would like and start to show signs of perceived instability. His ego could get in the way. If I were his astrologer, I would suggest he get rest, do some yoga or martial art to direct the restructuring in a way he can control. Avoid the swirling distractions and stay the course.

But if his Moon is in Gemini, this may be difficult for him to do. And with Pluto in Capricorn now, even though the people like him they may opt for someone who seems more tempered, more predictable and experienced, especially if he gets thrown by blind spots that come at him. Barak Obama has the "bones" to be an awesome leader, but astrologically it may not be his time.

Part of the Pluto oppose Venus conversation he may be having with his wife over the next several months will be if she is willing to go the Vice President's wife route. Or the reality of her sacrificing her own ambitions to settle into the role of First Lady. She will be his mirror as he works out if his willingness to serve his country is strong enough to endure the cost of his privacy and/or being second in line for the next eight years. Reflecting on his natural Leo arrogance, it's questionable if that's a role he can comfortably play.

But in the end, it's impossible to forecast with conviction his chance of winning without an accurate birth time and accurate horoscopes of all his opponents. Nonetheless, he has great promise and provides the US with a viable candidate to change the status quo.

Bush Vs Obama - Would Bush Win?

As the election progresses and the fire of fear and ignorance is fanned by GOP Organizers, one cannot help but wonder if this strategy was better organized, would be the results be considered effective or disparate.

Enter Karl Rove. All things being equal, would Karl Rove and his well oiled machine of propaganda be no match for the forces of "Change" lead by Barak Obama? Yes, Karl Rove has provided some aid to the McCain campaign, but no where near at the capacity he did for the Bush run.

To even consider John McCain an adequate opponent would be absurd. His campaign was left at a disadvantage from the beginning. None of the heavy-weights involved in the Republican party truly backed this campaign. The money did not flow as it did with the Bush campaign, leaving McCain up against a new democratic machine that was finally able to raise funds comparable to the war chest of the Bush Administration.

In no way should Obama and his followers see this campaign as a true test. All the stars have aligned to allow for this historical event. The traditional Republican machine is in dire need of maintenance and has been highly ineffective. Economic conditions have slanted the voter in the direction of Obama, simply because those in power happen to be Republican. Had it been a Democrat in power during this financial crisis, the GOP would have been able to run a goat on the presidential ticket.

What The Youth Of A Third World Country Can Learn From Obama's State Of The Union Speech

When I first thought of writing on Obama's historic State of the Union speech he made few weeks back and its relevance to Sri Lanka, I had a doubt whether it would be too much for third world country to consider. My main ambition was to get Sri Lankan youth to look at Obama differently.

One significant factor for Obama to become the 44th President of USA was the youth vote. No presidential candidate in the history of USA got more youth attraction than Obama. At the time he made this speech, the situation for Obama was not that great. Few weeks back economist Dr. Razeen Sally who writes a column to one of Sri lankan papers "DailyFT" said "The American love affair with Barak Obama ended in Massachusetts with the shock upset victory of a Republican to take Edward Keneddy's old seat in the US Senate".

His speech is one of the strategies to re-gain the confidence of Americans on him but Obama's vision is noteworthy for anyone to take seriously. What can the Sri Lankan youth and politicians learn from his speech?

He starts his speech saying "despite all our divisions and disagreements; our hesitations and our fears; America prevailed because we chose to move forward as one nation, and one people". Don't you think this is what Sri Lanka needs today as a nation just after a major election? As a nation which endured a war for thirty year we'd love to hear this from our politicians.

Look at what he said after that. Can we force our politicians to say "Despite our hardships, our union is strong. We do not give up. We do not quit. We do not allow fear or division to break our spirit." But Obama used these exact words in his speech.

At the beginning he said "I hear about problems in the letters that I read each night. The toughest to read are those written by children - asking why they have to move from their home, or when their mom or dad will be able to go back to work". Can we expect Sri Lankan politicians to read letters sent by people? Whether Obama read these letters or not, by saying this he has showed people in USA that their President is taking things seriously. That's a great motivator for people to trust him and believe that they have a leader who cares for them.

Obama said "when I ran for Presidency, I promised I wouldn't just do what was popular. I would do what was necessary". What a lesson for Politicians who are afraid of taking bold decisions for the betterment of Sri Lanka. Or can you apply this for your personal life and respect hard truth?

Youth demanded to be number one always. But don't you think as a country we are sometimes happy with what we get than exploring our true potential? But Obama said in his speech "I do not accept second-place for the United States of America." What an attitude to have? Can you have the same spirit and make Sri Lanka a better country? Not only for a country, but also for your life!

As the second most important point he said "we need to encourage American innovation". Even in a tough economy he insists on the importance of trying out new things and investing in innovative technology as he needs to be the President of a nation that leads the global economy. Are we innovative enough as Sri Lankans? We are risk aversive as a nation which is not very supportive of innovation. It's time for us to learn from Obama.

The third point he made was "we need to export more of our goods. Because the more products we make and sell to other countries, the more jobs we support right here in America". Are we looking at exporting things other than tea, rubber, coconut and garments? Even if you are very young it's not too early to think about what you can export from Sri Lanka. Whatever your age if you need to progress in your life, having an "export mindset" right from the early stage is a real bonus.

Fourth point he made was investing in "skills and education of people". He said "In the 21st century, one of the best anti-poverty programmes is a world-class education". This is so important for you as youth because it's the right time to realize the value of education and improving skills. Education is a real investment for a youth and your whole life will depend on how seriously you take this. Never stop learning and make it a habit.

If you can remember Obama's election theme it's "Change we can believe in". He said in his speech "I never suggested that change would be easy, or that I can do it alone". Obama is motivating people in USA to contribute for this change. This is exactly what we need today in Sri Lanka. We are waiting for the government to give us everything or blaming them for all. But are we understanding that we have a role to play in positively changing Sri Lanka? If you don't realize this as a youth you will never learn this later. It's your duty to make it and don't expect or wait till someone else changes Sri Lanka.

We all are looking at him as a politician of the new millennium. There is a lot we can get from him and change our attitude towards making Sri Lanka a better country. Change Sri Lanka! This is the best thought you can digest today.

Like Obama, Are McCain's Friends 'Naive' To?

During the Presidential debates, John McCain has tried to point out Barak Obama's lack of experience as to why he is not suited for command. Without fail he has tried to hammer home the outrageous idea of 'negotiating with our enemies [without pre-conditions]" , which Barak Obama has endorsed. Going in so far as chuckling at the idea, during the debates.

Is John McCain correct, is this such a bad idea? Why don't we check with other notable Replublicans:

Brent Scowcroft: The national security adviser to Presidents Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush. Scowcroft, a former Air Force general who is widely considered to be one of the preeminent foreign policy minds in the United States.

When asked by The Huffington Post whether he thought the next president should meet with the likes of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, he responded "Absolutely, It's hard to make things better if you don't talk."

Prior to the U.S. invasion of Iraq, Scowcroft expressed public misgivings concerning the course of action. In 2002, he wrote a Wall Street Journal op-ed titled, "Don't Attack Saddam," and warned that action against Iraq, without a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, "could turn the whole region into a cauldron and thus destroy the war on terrorism."

James Baker: Former Secretary of State, whom John McCain refers as one of the "smartest" men he knew and that he was likely to ask Baker to serve as a diplomatic envoy to the Middle East.

October 6, Baker said "talking to an enemy is not, in my view, appeasement."

Not only is John McCain willing to take the US down a path of further isolation, but contributing to its continued spiraling demise. His philosophy of walling off the enemy goes against the tactics used by some of the country's better known Republican and Cold War Presidents. Even as McCain conjures up the spirits of Reagan in his speeches, he fails to point out, possibly does not realizing, Reagan himself saw the need to sit down with [the enemy] Communist Russia.

Will Obama Be Re-Elected in 2012? - Assessing the Odds Of a 2nd Term

Many people are asking will Obama be re-elected in 2012? This is going to be a hotly contested topic until the 2012 elections. Many liberals love the work he has done in the country over the last few years, but many moderates and independents no longer support Obama. Many Republicans think that Obama is unbeatable in 2012, but many hard-core conservatives can't wait to defeat him in 2012. There are a variety of arguments on the topic, and none of the polls are going to give us a completely accurate picture of the likely 2012 Presidential results.

He is a great public speaker. When Obama is prepared, he is able to capture the attention of the audience. He may not have all the glamour he had in 2008, but he can still stir the emotions of the audience.

He has tremendous financial backing. It is estimated that President Obama could raise $1 billion dollars in the 2012 campaign. He will be able to advertise his message wherever he wants in 2012. Will Obama be re-elected in 2012?

Barak Obama Will Be Defeated In 2012
Unemployment is still very high. Many other businesses have been negatively affected since the economic collapse of 2008. With the continued struggles in the United States economy, the President will have to accept some of the blame. By 2012, most people are not going to accept excuses about his predecessor being responsible for today's economy.

He is losing support among many key demographics. Women, independents, and even some liberals do not support him like they did in 2008. It seems that Obama is not going to get the same support he got in 2008.

Rising energy prices and inflation could derail his reelection bid. There are not any signs that the economy is getting much better. Gas prices are still high, and inflation continues to tick upwards. If gas prices continue going up between now and the elections 2012, it will make his reelection bid much more difficult. It appears that gas prices are not going to fall anytime soon, and people are not happy with his policies on the moratorium on drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

Will Obama be re-elected in 2012? It is too early to say at the time of this writing. The economy is probably the biggest issue that will influence whether he is re-elected in 2012. If the economy is improving in late 2012, he may be re-elected, but a souring economy could kick him out of the White House after 2012.

We sent you there to take "our country" back, make sure we can reasonably feed clothe shelter and educate our children and ourselves. We sent you there because we need to be able to go to the hospital when we are sick or hurt and not be afraid we will be denied coverage, be financially devastated, embarrassed or turned out on to the street! We sent you there because we don't want the government to give us anything "we just want the government to open up the door and we'll get it ourselves." Right now Mr. Obama not only is the door closed but it's locked! All we wanted is to be safe and secure in our own country and not have our money taken away to do things that make us not only less safe but more fearful, economically destitute, morally damaged, and afraid to fly.

You made us promises and took covenant with us to do as we asked, feel our pain, restore our good name, and wrestle the reins of power from the bloated backroom self consumed power brokers of Washington. You represented (and still do) all our hopes and dreams to overcome the crippling schemes of powerful men dealing behind the scenes to abridge our rights by any means. Sure, it has only been 2 years but it is time to unwaveringly institute that "CHANGE" you spoke about. We are doing our best to hold onto the small businesses we have, the jobs we have, the homes we have, the benefits we have, and even the little self esteem have left and fought so hard for. We picked you for the job because we don't care about your hue only what you have the God given potential to do. To tell you the truth "we" hired you because we heard you in rhetoric raise the bar and right now we need a leader with the fighting strength of Truman, vision and tenacity of FDR. You are there because we need something from you, we need you to clean house and get our sovereignty, our money and our power back and our patience is waning. Don't be drawn into the continual conferences of delay by those that use negotiation as a strategy to permanently keep our "we the people" at bay. You were sent there because when you spoke you aroused our hope and made us believe together we could purge the American political air of the sickening stale stench of backroom cigar smoke.

You promised to end the war in Iraq so remove all the troops including the last 50,000 do it keep your promise. You promised to give us the health care we all need, go back and finish it "come hell or high water" like FDR did, if the big business barons hate you that is the price of our love. You promised to get us working; seriously you must work on that! You promised us more things than I have time or space to write about but you still have time to keep many of those promises, so let's get going before you and the time are gone. Mr. President it is time for you to finally "dare to be great", you have all the tools we just all wish you would use them and un-apologetically make that "CHANGE" you talked about, good medicine is always bitter! Last of all you promised to go through the budget item by item line by line well that time has arrived and I am going to help you.

I understand we need money to do all these things and finance all the changes and of course money is tight right now or at least so we are led to believe. However money can solve a lot of problems for us simply by moving it to where it belongs and away from where it does not. Everyday millions of dollars leave our shores and go to countries that abuse us spy on us thumb their noses at us so here are some solutions and let's start with a hard one. Let's use the Americans people's money to achieve "peace in the middle east", we are giving lots and lots of money to just about all the parties involved, so it stands to reason they have an incentive to keep the conflicts going because they are getting paid. If we remove our money from the equation things will definitely get a lot quieter. Consider the following:

1. Israel receives about say 10 million of our hard earned tax dollars every day, they don't listen to anyone they do as they want. That is about 3.6 billion a year, Israel has a heath care system far superior to ours and subsidized housing as well if we kept that money here at home where it belongs, it would go a long way towards solving our health care problems not to mention it could keep a lot our people here in their homes.

2. Egypt receives roughly about 2 Billion per year and a large part of that goes to arms and the balance into accounts of the their politicians to be used for we don't know what. However here in America we have thousands of people living in shelters or on the street depending on charity for their next meal.

3. Jordan receives millions every year in tax dollars every year without any accountability to speak of.

4. The list goes on and on and all we know is the Palestinian Authority only seems to have the authority to spend our money.

Cut the funds off to the Middle East and stop giving them weapons for free while we foot the bill. Believe me the conflict will stop because they won't be able to afford it and then maybe they can feel the anguish of being moved from "welfare to work" or as is our reality now from work to the "unemployment line."

This money keeps going out and going out creating a massive vortex in the collective American tax payer's bathtub with no end in sight. Yet we are told there are massive budget problems, well I guess so because we are not getting the benefit of the funds we endlessly pay in. Everyone near and far from massive corporations to foreign dictators are lined up at the trough to get an unfair share of the monies we the American people labor so hard for. Stop letting Washington give away what we don't have to give and feeding us the lies of "Big Government" spending out of control here inside the U.S., while in fact we are funding war, terrorism, and incredible waste all across the globe. We hired you because we are mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore. Please do the job we sent you there for, take firm resolve and do not retreat so I hope you got the message and you know why "we" threw so many incumbents out of office this time in 2010 just like we did in 2008. Both parties honestly sicken us and we truly identify with neither. We just want our country back and if you don't do it we will keep "CHANGING" until we find someone who will lead us out of this stinking fetid morass...

Why Barack Obama Will Fail - An Astrological Insight Into What Ails America

According to Vedic Astrology calculations, Saturn moved to Virgo 0n 09.09.2009. Of the 12 houses that Saturn transits in his thirty year cycle, his passage through the fifth and the eighth house from the Moon is most vexing. In the fifth he causes financial losses and poor judgment. In the eighth house he causes dishonor, losses, misfortunes, miseries, accidents and death.

Interestingly Saturn is passing through the fifth house of President Obama and through the eighth house of The horoscope of United States. This has important consequences on the domestic and foreign policy of the US. The houses mentioned for this transit are taken from the Moon sign and we shall take it to be so in the rest of the article also.

In president Obama' s chart, Saturn now begins to transit the fifth house from Moon. He creates a number of challenges when passing through the fifth house. The first casualty is the emotional and intellectual state of the person. Planning neither matures nor becomes successful. Mr. Obama will feel these results more potently as Saturn has no Ashtak Varga point in the fifth house from Moon in his chart. Saturn aspects the eleventh house of gain as well as the second house of wealth and so causes financial challenges. This is universal and the President will not escape unscathed. His personal fortunes may cause him some worry.

Saturn transits through second, third and fourth Pada of Uttara Phalguni, all four Pada of Hasta and the first two Pada of Chitra Nakshatra (Constellation).

In the chart of USA Saturn transits the eighth house from Moon where he gets only two Ashtak Varga points. His results will be decidedly unfavorable. The president will be severely tested both as a man and as a leader. For the sake of peace let us pray that he emerges successful from this ordeal.

American women's issues have rather changed in accordance with the continuously evolving world of today. Obama and His Lottery Winner Syndrome

What would be the chance in politics of a real rags to riches story? Who would have thought that a well educated, but relatively poor, young man from South Chicago could become president? What kind of odds would there be for a community organizer to strike the political mother load prize of all elections, the White House? Practically unthinkable, but yet that is what has happened in our lifetimes.

Indeed, this "poor man -- rich man" scenario actually happened. Before he came on the scene no one thought it possible. He was a man who through a series of fortuitous events, a strange accident of luck and fortune for him, was able to get elected and became a do-nothing State of Illinois legislator in Springfield, Illinois -- a man who drank beer and played cards at night with powerful legislators to get "on the in" with these party bosses. He produced scant legislation, and one wonders if there was a plan to this apparent ineptitude which would make it possible for him to have little or no record to run on or against when he decided to run for the U.S. Senate.

After two years in the Senate the record shows that again he failed to create much of a leadership name for himself -- he was a do-nothing Senator -- but it was then that he started running for president -- ultimately winning the national election and becoming president?

It's almost the stuff of fairy tales. It is so far-fetched it couldn't have just happened, it had to have been orchestrated, including the outrageous amount of political funding he was privately able to amass with outside help. History tells us that this black Arab man's white mother was poor and she couldn't have sent him to college, certainly not to Harvard and Columbia.

We knew little about Obama's school writings, he sealed the record. He was president of the law review and admits that there were articles that he authored, which is normal and which could have revealed his character and political leanings and where he would take the country if elected president.

Research does tell us he had a private Arab donor who footed his college bills. It also tells us that he had grown up essentially fatherless, except for a black communist Muslim friend of his mother who was in their home often, a communist by the name of Frank Marshall Davis, someone who had taken Barack Husein Obama to a Muslim mosque for indoctrination at an early age, something he will not admit even to this day. He even denies any communist or Muslim influence or background, but the facts are clear. There is a history of this guy "Frank" in Obama's life, a man whom even Obama admits was often in his home. He was a communist leader in Hawaii and the facts don't lie that there was this relationship.

Not only has he sealed his school writings, but his actual birth certificate, called a "vault" record because he has apparently paid someone off in Hawaii to seal this record from public scrutiny. He did produce a phony computer copy that states he was born in Hawaii, but if that is so why won't he produce the actual "vault" copy which we believe would have revealed he was born in Kenya, Africa where his father lived, making him ineligible to run for the presidency.

Why didn't he reveal either the birth certificate or his writings? Because they would have made it impossible for him to become elected because of the restriction that a presidential candidate must have been born in the United States or in one of its territories and to reveal his past writings would have revealed him as a liar, a man who actually favored government ownership of banks, insurance companies, automakers and all sorts of means of production, something which is becoming abundantly clear each day of his administration.

Why don't I just say it? It would have uncovered the facade of Americanism and fealty and patriotism to the U.S. flag and Constitution; and it would have revealed an out-and-out communist -- not just a socialist or a sympathizer of communism -- but the communist that he is. Even with all of this information, we have barely scratched the surface of who this man Barack Husein Obama really is. Who in the Soviet Union does he most earnestly want to emulate? How will he get on next week when the financial Group of Twenty meet and he has a chance to talk to one of the most successful communist leaders in the world, Hu Jintao. How they get on should shed further light on where he plans to take America during these coming dangerous days.

The chances of a man or woman like this ascending to the highest office in the land are slim to none, except if someone mentored and backed him financially. That would be two separate persons. Originally that someone, we believe, was an Arab prince who funded his college education. There are no free rides in this life, so one must wonder what favors he owes this man in return for his generosity? And what about the rich man who actually paid the lion's share of his three-quarter million political campaign fund raising which totally overwhelmed his opponent, Senator John McCain. If my statements are in error, I would invite President Obama to set the record straight with an accurate and independent audit and report of what I believe was a most fraudulent and dishonest campaign starting with the funding and ending with the favors he must owe individuals and countries across the globe.

The poor man's name, of course was Barack Hussein Obama, the middle name of which he shuns even to this day for obvious political reasons. He has tried to disassociate himself from Islam and the Muslim movement, even for 20 years associating with a branch of the Church of Christ in Chicago and the bombastic, outspoken critic of the U.S., Rev. Jeramiah Wright whom under constant fire from critics he repudiated, finally leaving that church.

Obama curried favor with a convicted felon gangster, Tony Rezko, who had much to do with his financial ability to purchase his home in South Chicago. He also associated with a known terrorist, William Ayers, and his terrorist wife Bernardine Dohrn, but he disavows knowing them very well despite the fact that he started his campaign for the state senate in their house. Is it any wonder this president has had such a terribly hard time finding honest people to name to important positions in his administration. Half a dozen of his "vetted" personalities had not paid their taxes, including his treasury secretary Timothy Gaithner who owed more than $40,000 including interest, a man who is now chief tax collector in America. That history would usually disqualify such a man for this office, and now because of his many gaffes and lack of success, many are calling for Gaithner's resignation. Several proposed appointments had scandalous pasts, including New Mexico governor Richardson.

Obama is member of the liberal Democratic Party in America which only too well remembers the 9/11 attacks and the atrocities of taking down the World Trade Center, an attempted suicide collision with the Pentagon and the White House, resulting in killing 3,000 Americans, a carefully planned heinous attack perpetrated by Arab nationals mainly from Saudi Arabia, an attack for which international terrorist Osama Bin Laden takes full credit, a man who is at large today somewhere in the Afghan hills planning another strike on American soil. If he has his way, this time it will be with the use of a nuclear weapon, thanks to the willing assistance of Iran and maybe the knowledge of a man who may become known as the most notorious traitor of all time Barak Obama.

Now it turns out that an influential, radical black Muslim with close ties to the Saudi royal family and an outspoken opponent of Israel helped finance Obama's law school education. Obama's benefactor at the young age of 25 is Dr. Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour a/k/a Donald Warden. Here are some facts you should know about al-Mansour according to a Newmax investigative report:

* "He is well known within the black community as a lawyer, an orthodox Muslim, a black nationalist, an author, an international deal-maker, an educator, and an outspoken enemy of Israel."

* In a 1995 book, "The Lost Books of Africa Rediscovered," he alleged that the United States was plotting genocide against black Americans.

* He was the mentor of Black Panther Party founder Huey Newton and his cohort, Bobby Seale.

* Al-Mansour's more recent videotaped speeches focus on Muslim themes, and abound with anti-Semitic theories and anti-Israel vitriol.

* At the same time he was raising money for Obama's education he was representing top members of the Saudi Royal family seeking to do business and exert influence in the United States.

* He advises Prince Alwaleed bin Talal in his U.S. investments. Yet, this revelation about Obama's past received no attention from the news media. Why? Obama critic Andy Martin thinks the revelation is a big one. "This latest disclosure may be the 'smoking gun' that discredits Obama and destroys his candidacy." [Obviously it didn't] "And I think I know where it came from. I honestly do not see Obama surviving financial links to a close adviser of a member of the Saudi Arabia monarchy, not when Saudis were the instigators of 9/11." "Even a slight link to Saudi money would disqualify anyone from the presidency in the mind of almost every American." I agree with Martin that it is a big revelation. But this American news media has already decided Obama is The One."

But who was it that put the political ideas into Obama's head, or was it a combination of people? It is difficult for any reasoning person to believe that suddenly three-quarters of a million Americans on the Internet donated each one thousand dollars toward his election -- or that twice that number donated five hundred dollars. He claims most of his donations were of the one or two-dollar variety, so the number of Internet supporters would have to approach a million. The election laws are so loosely managed in America that, despite evidence of voting fraud, even to this day we the public do not know for sure what happened. But we do know that many of the donations were bogus, even coming in with comic names like Spiderman. That much has been documented elsewhere. Voting commission fraud doesn't seem to be a thing that the Democrat-controlled Congtress or publicly funded ACORN wants to get into when it affects the eligibility of one of its own, Mr. Obama. ACORN itself is rife with corruption. It is really an arm of the Democratic Party funded by all American taxpayers, which is scandalous and shameful.

And what about those bus visits to Connecticut homes of those AIG execs who received Barak Obama, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd-sanctioned bonuses despite the fact America bailed AIG out? Acorn is founder of The Working Families Party, the group that hired a bunch of poor people to picket and shout obscenities in front of these homes, intimidating these AIG employees and putting them up to national ridicule,shame and scorn. But did they do the same to Franklin Raines, former president of Fannie Mae who walked away with obscene bonuses and salary of over $90 million in only six years of incredibly poor management, a performance that helped cause the meltdown in the first place?

ACORN is the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. While in Chicago, Obama was one of their trainers and could have put them up to this nonsense.

The scorn, ridicule, and rage started with the Congress and the president. It was a cover up for their own mistakes and ineptitude in voting for the AIG bonuses in the first place and for failing to read the bills they actually voted for. Allegations of voter fraud against ACORN are not trumped up, they are real. And why in the world in America should the taxpayers foot the bills for a partisan Democratic front group known as ACORN? While it is true they gave part of the money they got from us taxpayers to Republicans, it was a very minor part compared to that which they forked out to Democrat candidates including Obama.

When Obama started his quest for the presidency, Las Vegas gambling houses would have given him a one in a million chance of prevailing over Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Primary, then an even poorer chance of defeating an experienced Senator from Arizona, even a Viet Nam war hero, John McCain, someone with excellent credentials, someone who could have stepped into the presidency and made excellent decisions on day one as commander in chief.

Interestingly, it was in Nevada where Clinton and Obama were running even in the polls. That was before ACORN weighed in and lent Obama a considerable assist, helping to defeat Clinton in a clearly partisan way. Who says we have free elections in America since the advent of Barak Obama? By all rights, Clinton should be president today -- or John McCain -- had it not been for the publicly funded and highly partisan ACORN.

But Obama pulled off the worst election scam in history. He is president today, but he so much resembles that kid from the poorest part of the country who had nothing -- no car, no means, no real job, and suddenly he wins the lottery and becomes filthy rich with fifty million dollars.

This kid lets his new-found wealth go to his head, lots of girl friends, buys expensive cars and a house for his mother and gambles it all away within two months of becoming rich and again ends up a pauper.

Obama is this poor kid made rich who comes to Washington with nothing better to do than spend, spend, spend malevolently or just because he never had anything himself, we do not know...until like the poor boy who won the lottery, within two months he bankrupts the country while living high on talk shows and giving lavish White House parties, traveling the country each week to town halls in Airforce One as if it is suddenly 2012 and he's running for office again.

If you think all of this is fantasy, think again. It is precisely where we stand today as a bankrupt country after this profligate young man, a man who never had anything before coming to Washington, has strong-armed a Democratic congress and has them in his pocket. Congress has passed every bill he has suggested, spent every dime he has urged on them, being as dishonest as he is, not realizing -- or maybe he does realize and it's all part of the grand plan to bring America to its knees -- what the multi-zillion-dollar bailouts of banks, Detroit, and now insurance companies and perhaps any corporation or company he likes is doing to our people.

It's likely that this profligate's treasury secretary will continue to have his way with an obsequious congress. It continues to suck up to this near-do-well in the White House who with the president's blessing wields more power than any previous treasury secretary, even power to at a whim declare any private or public company a threat to the economy, thus grabbing or nationalizing this company and that "for the public good" in truly Marxist fashion, the likes of which we haven't seen in America or even dreamed could happen since those discredited outlaws Hitler and Stalin came to power in Germany and Russia more than sixty years ago.

President Obama Social Security Number is Questioned

The Internet was in a buzz today over President Obama's Social Security number and whether or not it is, in fact, a valid number.

While Web surfers are curious about Elena Kagan, the BP oil leak and even Tampa and the Federal Reserve (what did happen to that missing money) but amidst it all, people still want to know, "What's up with Obama's Social Security Number?"

It began when two private investigators concerned about the number that Obama is issued by Social Security, decided to do some digging. One of the concerns was that the digits from his Social Security Number are from the state of Connecticut. This is a state the President has no past ties to and no explanation as to why he would have a Social Security number filed from that state.

The second issue is that the Social Security card was issues two years after Obama's first public employment. So the question arises as to how he obtained public employment in the first place?

Those who understand Social Security numbers and what they represent could tell a great deal about a person instantly, based on the number itself. However, there are sometimes discrepancies that can be perfectly explained. For example, I was born in Florida and issued a State of Florida birth certificate. My mother did not request a Social Security card for me until I was ready to start school at nearly 5 years old. At this point, she had moved to Virginia so my SSN reflects the Commonwealth and not the Sunshine State.

However, this was an issue that had to be dealt with at school age, long before I ever obtained my first job. So what's with Obama and his late issued number? And what's the explanation on the State of issue?

Many people believe this revelation over the Social Security number of Barak Obama to be proof of a conspiracy. The investigators claim that Obama could have obtained one social security number in Hawaii, his place of birth, and then another in 1986. Even more astonishing is that the investigators believe this new number that Obama took on in 1986 was that of a deceased person who was born in 1890.

So why would Obama take on another social security number to hide something from his past? Many believe that he was not eligible to be our 44th President and that this as well as the battle to avoid producing a birth certificate (where he would spend more than 2 million in court fees) are all steps to cover up wrongdoing in the past.

Tell me this though, if all of this were true, how did it slip by the officials who screen potential Presidential candidates in the first place? Are these conspiracy theorists stating that they think they entire government is behind this scheme? And if so, what would be the intended purpose in such an elaborate plan?

A Review of Barack Obama's the Audacity of Hope

In his book, The Audacity of Hope, President Barak Obama addresses issues that catapulted him to fame and brought the hope that he would be a prominent presidential election candidate. The book is originally his speech in Illinois state elections for senate chamber which has been delivered in 2004 in only 20 minutes. Later in 2006 he published that speech under the title "Audacity of Hope" that has the same themes he touched upon in the campaign speech in 2004.

Chapter one

The first chapter of the book is dedicated to two American parties, Democrats and Republicans. In this chapter, Obama contents that the congress is now more partisan than other times and that these two parties should overlook the differences and show collegiality and fellow feeling. He is not a supporter of mere partisan stance by the democrats against Republicans, nor does he agree with the old and worn out partisan poses or the Republicans. He hopes that Democrats show a sense of cooperation, while adhering to the central trends of the party.

Chapter two

He then in chapter two has recourse to politician behavior in the American political and social scene, asserting that in the age of information, not any of the politicians can remain exempt from the public scrutiny in the case of blunder. He calls for more adherences to political values in the face of conflict for sheer power. He also objects that the Democrat loss of offices comes from the internal factions and also from a more divisiveness with the Republicans. He admits that political scene dose not permit politician to remain true to their values. He finally hopes that the leaders of the two parties converge in the direction that its outcome be the nation's profit.

Chapter three

Then in chapter 3 Obama gives an account of legislation debate in which the law makers are actually reluctant to amendments necessary to make the law up-to-date according to the needs and requirements of the day. Personally, Obama is in the front who support the idea that, though the constitution is the historical phenomenon, we can have special cased that according to which this constitutions shows flexibility of interpretation. He generally supports this flexibility, when facing the needs of an ever-growing world.

Chapter four

Obama in chapter 4 goes back to previous discussion of politics and politicians, saying that special interest groups have an influence on them, who seek out their special interest during any political event. Obama declares that in order to tackle the problem of being at service of special interest groups and increase the efficacy of any political system, politicians should be true to the morality and values of the party. He, then, calls for democrats' appeasing the power-seeking parties and attitudes, so that they are able to serve their constituency better.

Chapter five

Obama, in chapter 5, this time targets economy and US economy in particular and considers its impact in social, cultural and political domains. According to him economic inefficiency is to the loss of the poor and marginalized people, but his own meetings with the prominent and wealthy people attests that his view is ironically also true.

Chapter six

He then, touches upon school reform, which has been implemented through empirical research. Religion and religious faith is Obama's next resort in his book, by which he contends republican show- off of the religious faith. He gives an account of his journey from atheism to faith and that religious faith has strengthened his personal and moral convictions. Obama objects that since Americans are deeply religious, the only by which democrats can win this people's consent is remaining in a sense of ease to religious faith. He concludes that religious tolerance is the best way to, for the two parties to have common grounds for ideas, not a hotspot in which they lead full-fledged war.

Chapter seven

Race is dominant theme in chapter 7. In this Obama admits that, although the institutionalized form of racial discrimination has been ended, but with a look at American social scene, one can notice subtle form of discrimination is still present, however this prejudice dose not stem from fundamentally race-based attitudes, but from sheer ignorance of its perpetrators. Obama wants all Americans to disagree with any cases of discrimination in order to uproot this filthy phenomenon from Black experience of life.

Chapter eight

Chapter 8 of the book is a scene in which Obama arranges American role in international politics and relations. He asserts that US defense budget is not in accord with the new patterns and needs of international relations and that American must attempt to assume more responsibility in facing the new paradigms emerging after 9 September 2001. In Iraq war issue, he believes that unilateralism was misguided and it has been poorly handled by Republican administration. He admits more multilateral efforts in solving world problems and that the Americans needlessly have been complacent about their role and function regarding the world affairs.

Chapter nine

The last chapter is family in which Obama gives his own childhood accounts. Obama here contends that Republican's stance over the family in posing personal dogmas in the frame of the law is not true to the private aspects of personal life. He finally asserts that in order to provide a center for children to thrive in, the families should have an unshakeable foundation and for that, supportive policies and personal responsibility must be dominant among the collective attitudes toward family.

Will President Barack Obama Ever Be Popular Again?

Americans and indeed the whole world watched with keen interest as Barak Obama and Hilary Clinton tried frantically to emerge as the Democratic Party's flag bearer in the 2008 presidential election. The popularity of the two candidates was put to the test; it was a time for Americans to choose between two choices that were both challenging and record-creating.

First, one of the choices would lead to the emergence of the first African-American president (Black president), and the second choice would lead to the emergence of their first female president. Either of the two candidates was almost sure of getting into the White House because the Republican Party was fast losing its popularity as a result of the circumstances of the time. Obama eventually got the better vote because he was no doubt the more popular of the two candidates. He became a history-maker, as he became the first Black to rule the country after over 200 years of independence.

Everywhere one went then, one was greeted with Obamamania - Obama 'T' shirts, fez caps, belts, trousers, key holders, notebooks, balloons, wrist watches, eye glasses, car stickers, etc. But the enthusiasm that greeted his election and eventual swearing-in as America's 44th president began to die down sooner than later. He began to lose his rating and popularity clearly because of some controversial and hasty decisions that he made. When these mistakes were repeated from time to time and in different areas, Americans and indeed the world began to have a rethink; and started to nurse the fear that all that glitters may after all not be gold.

What has reduced his popularity?

Some of the decisions President Barak Obama made that have seen his popularity nose dive include:

1. Discrimination against Nigeria: On assumption of office, the president made his first official familiarization visit to the continent of Africa, his root. He accorded respect and recognition to countries like Ghana, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, etc by paying them a visit: but he shunned Africa's most populous and most influential nation, Nigeria, and treated her like a leper. Nigeria may be having her own challenges and going through her wilderness experience; one thing remains very clear, she is clearly the most influential voice in the continent - ask the UN Security Council, ECOMOG, Common Wealth of Nations, AU, FIFA, CAF, etc and they would tell you the undiluted truth. She remains Africa's biggest philanthropist, defender of the smaller countries, and the Sub region's leader.

2. HealthCare Reform Bill: The healthcare reform bill became the first litmus test that his government was subjected to. His reform bill was greeted with criticism and suspicion by both the Republicans and some Democrats. The bill eventually got passed into law; but so many people had lost their faith in him as they could not be convinced the bill meant well for the poor masses.

3. Bail-out loans for Chrysler: The effect of the world economic recession was so biting that Chrysler Motors had to request for some bail-out loans from the government to enable them save thousands of jobs for their employees. This was handled with levity; and today, we all know the outcome of government's refusal to come to the aid of the auto company.

4. War in Afghanistan and Iraq: This was one of the reasons Americans refused to vote for the Republicans: a lot of soldiers were losing their precious lives in these countries. So, they hoped the new president would stop this trend by withdrawing their children, brothers, husbands and fathers from these wars that had consumed much of their resources. However, today, the country has lost over 4,000 military personnel in these countries, and they continue to lose their able-bodied soldiers daily. This continual loss of their dear ones has made the people to lose their hope in the government.

5. Resignation of key ministers: Since this administration came into power, some ministers and some other persons appointed into key positions have voluntarily resigned from office. Why? I leave that to you to guess. Recently the defense minister, Robert Gates announced he's going to resign from the government in 2011. This decision was said to have shocked the president beyond words.

6. Listing Nigeria as a terrorist country: A young Nigerian who never grew up in Nigeria and never understood the cultural values of his people, made an attempt to bomb an American airline on 25th December 2009; a move which was vehemently condemned by all Nigerians. Surprisingly, President Barak Obama immediately placed Nigeria on the terror watch list. This was at a time Nigeria needed understanding from the International Community because her president was on a sick bed in Saudi Arabia. That decision further reduced the respect that Nigerians, nay, Africans had for the American president.

7. The Middle East: Recent research and public opinion pools showed that about 70% of the Arab world feels that President Obama has lost his popularity in the Middle East. His wars in Iraq and Afghanistan; his role in the Israel-Palestine conflict, and his attitude towards Iran were said to be partly responsible for this dwindling popularity.

8. Loss of Millions of jobs: Since this present government assumed power, millions of jobs have been lost following the world economic recession. The people feel enough is not being done to secure their jobs and guarantee their means of livelihood. So many people have committed suicide as a result of this. Some have even killed their wives and children as well as themselves.

How Can This Popularity Be Regained?

1. Improved relationship: Obama should not treat everybody with suspicion. He should learn to draw those influential countries closer to himself rather than treat them with disdain or contempt. He should expunge Nigeria's name from the terror watch list and get more support from Africa.

2. Stop the wars: America has spent billions of dollars prosecuting wars in Afghanistan and Iraq; and is also thinking of conducting a military exercise with South Korea, when a lot of her citizens are jobless and hungry. The country is also running into debts. They should listen to popular opinion/demand and withdraw from these wars. They should forget about preserving their pride; rather the welfare of the people should be their priority. The government should create more jobs and employments with the money being squandered on war. Let the slaughtering of the soldiers stop so that some of the children of these soldiers would get to know their fathers.

3. Revisit the economic stimulus package: They should try as much as possible to save those companies that have provided employment for thousands of Americans from liquidating as a result of the world economic meltdown.

4. Reduce Interference: America should allow regions to manage their affairs; and only send their war machines there when they are truly needed and invited to help. Going there on their own without an invitation would make those people misinterpret their genuine intensions, and further reduce their popularity.

There is only one way to find out if your dog is going to vote for John McCain or Barak Obama - you have to ask your dog. Before I go any further I want to remind you that you should not get upset with your dog if they have a different political affiliation than you. The first step is to find a picture of Barak Obama and John McCain. This can easily be done by going to Google.com and use the images button.

Now take two dog food bowls and place them against the wall. With each bowl against the wall tape each picture over each bowl.

Have your dog do a stay command in front of the bowls. Give your dog a few seconds to make his decision. After a few seconds release your dog from the stay command and let him make his decision. Whichever bowl your dog goes to will be your dog's choice. Again don't get upset if your dog decides to vote differently than you.

Obama and the Racist Voter - Another Bradley Effect?

Will Racist Voters Cost Obama the Presidency?

A few days ago I was asked to attend a debate watch for the final faceoff between Barak Obama and John McCain. More specifically, I was being asked to serve as a moderator for the discussion that was to take place after the debate. In my effort to generate questions I could ask to spur discussion, I had to think about some of the possible issues the candidates might raise. One of the issues that many political pundits are wondering about is the Obama connection to Ayers, a topic I have already addressed in another post. Another issue, and one that surprised me in terms of how much coverage it was receiving, was the race factor. Could Obama lose the election because of racist voters? At first glance the answer would seem to be no; Obama's lead in most polls has him far enough ahead of McCain that the racist vote should not cost him the election. However, the numbers game is much more complicated.

According to political scientists, whenever a black candidate runs against a white candidate in state and local elections, there is always the possibility of having a "Bradley effect." Named after the former mayor of Los Angeles who ran for Governor and lost despite his lead in the polls, this effect posits that many white voters will express support for a black candidate when asked by a pollster only to vote against that person on election day. After losing, it seemed as though the polls overstated the among of support Bradley really had among white voters.

Of course, I should also note that the race factor also helps Obama with some voters. Although I would not call this a "reverse Bradley effect," it is certainly there. How this will play out on election day makes me very nervous. There is still a lot of time left in the election and anything can happen to make this a closer race, a race where the Bradley effect might matter.
