President Obama Social Security Number is Questioned

The Internet was in a buzz today over President Obama's Social Security number and whether or not it is, in fact, a valid number.

While Web surfers are curious about Elena Kagan, the BP oil leak and even Tampa and the Federal Reserve (what did happen to that missing money) but amidst it all, people still want to know, "What's up with Obama's Social Security Number?"

It began when two private investigators concerned about the number that Obama is issued by Social Security, decided to do some digging. One of the concerns was that the digits from his Social Security Number are from the state of Connecticut. This is a state the President has no past ties to and no explanation as to why he would have a Social Security number filed from that state.

The second issue is that the Social Security card was issues two years after Obama's first public employment. So the question arises as to how he obtained public employment in the first place?

Those who understand Social Security numbers and what they represent could tell a great deal about a person instantly, based on the number itself. However, there are sometimes discrepancies that can be perfectly explained. For example, I was born in Florida and issued a State of Florida birth certificate. My mother did not request a Social Security card for me until I was ready to start school at nearly 5 years old. At this point, she had moved to Virginia so my SSN reflects the Commonwealth and not the Sunshine State.

However, this was an issue that had to be dealt with at school age, long before I ever obtained my first job. So what's with Obama and his late issued number? And what's the explanation on the State of issue?

Many people believe this revelation over the Social Security number of Barak Obama to be proof of a conspiracy. The investigators claim that Obama could have obtained one social security number in Hawaii, his place of birth, and then another in 1986. Even more astonishing is that the investigators believe this new number that Obama took on in 1986 was that of a deceased person who was born in 1890.

So why would Obama take on another social security number to hide something from his past? Many believe that he was not eligible to be our 44th President and that this as well as the battle to avoid producing a birth certificate (where he would spend more than 2 million in court fees) are all steps to cover up wrongdoing in the past.

Tell me this though, if all of this were true, how did it slip by the officials who screen potential Presidential candidates in the first place? Are these conspiracy theorists stating that they think they entire government is behind this scheme? And if so, what would be the intended purpose in such an elaborate plan?
